The Cake Shoppe is an online concept store that encourages you to play with your food and lives within The Cakewalk Universe. In this shoppe, you’ll find anything from ready to wear, accessories, kitchenware, home goods, books & zines, vintage objects, special collaboration items, and more (and if you’ve been here for a bit, I think you know EXACTLY what you’re in for)!

For this first collection, we have exclusive collaborations with incredible artist friends like Karla Sutra, and The Deli by Polly, just to name a few. We also carry other friends like

This first version of The Cake Shoppe will operate as an online pop-up store open from today until Dec. 12th (international shipping included - pray for me). After this date, the website will still be available for you to browse but I will be closing orders through the new year so basically, if you like what you see - you have 3 weeks to get on it!

The shoppe evolved from an idea that I’ve been sitting on for the past 6 years and has taken on many different lives since then. Today, I am beyond excited to present to you The Cake Shoppe as a part of The Cakewalk Universe.

This newsletter actually started out as a precursor to the shoppe but quickly turned into its own beast, or feast rather, for which I couldn’t be more grateful. While I will occasionally be sending out The Cake Shoppe news here, I want to assure you that nothing will be changing and the menu will be just as rife with content as ever, leaving you stuffed!

And in case that wasn’t enough, I will be introducing a brand new interview series for The Cakewalk coming to you NEXT WEEK so stay tuned, she’s been a busy girl!

Now can we please have a moment for my adorable logos and all of these amazing graphics made for me by my magical friend, Mathilde Ruellan who doubles as graphic designer and creative director extraordinaire should you ever be in the market for one!
